On 27 June, the 2022 China Communications and Transportation Association Science and Technology Award Commendation Conference, hosted by China Communications and Transportation Association, was successfully held in Beijing Guoji International Conference and Exhibition Centre. Professor Liu Zhigang of our College won the 2022 CCTA Science and Technology Excellence Award.

  The Award is given to outstanding contributors who have made major breakthroughs in key core technological innovations, led technological progress in the industry, and created great economic or social benefits in the light of the strategic needs of the country and the needs of the national economy and social development. No more than 10 persons will be awarded each year.

  In 2022, the winners include 10 experts, including Liang Jianying, director of the National High-Speed Train Qingdao Technology Innovation Centre, and He Weiguo, chief expert of the Sixth Railway Survey and Design Group Co. etc.
