Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the third batch of "National Colleges and Universities Huang Dainian-style Teacher Team". The Intelligent Traction Power Supply Teaching& Research Team led by Prof. Gao Shibin was on the list.

Focusing on high-speed railway safety, reliability, energy saving, green and other major projects, the team has made breakthroughs in some key technologies, such as high-speed Pantograph-OCS system testing and diagnosis, high-speed railway power supply protection and scheduling, large-scale rolled-core transformer design and manufacturing, high-power hydrogen power system, etc. It is also responsible for the research and development of major equipments, such as China's first set of High-speed Railway Pantograph-OCS System, China's first set of High-speed Railway Power Supply Monitoring System, the world's first Ultra-low Loss Traction Transformer, China's first new type of Wireless Power Supply Tram, the world's first fuel cell hybrid tram and 160km/h Hydrogen Power Train.
