The R&D and Testing Platform for Traction Substation Automation System for High-Speed Railway

Based on object-oriented design idea and the principle of decentralized control and centralized monitor, using modularized, hierarchical and distributed structure, the platform is designed to research and test engineering technology of protection, control, measurement and communication for traction transformer, auto-transformer, power transformer, feeder line etc.


Structure:


The platform is composed of proof-of-principle system, prototype experiment system and test and evaluation system. Proof-of-principle system is to simulate the fault and load characteristics of the traction power supply system, to examine the principles of protective relays, and to test the operations of automatic devices. Prototype experiment system is to implement the unit experiment of protective relays and automatic devices, substation automation system experiment, digital substation experiment and feeding section integration experiments. Test and evaluation system is used for protective relays and automatic devices, substation automation system, standardization and consistency of digital substation based on IEC61850.
