Six Scholars Of Our College Selected For Elsevier's 2022 China Highly Cited Scholars List

  On March 28, Elsevier released the 2022 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. Southwest Jiaotong University has a total of 28 scholars on the list, of which 6 scholars from the School of Electrical Engineering are on the list in the disciplines of transportation engineering and electrical engineering, namely Professor He Zhengyou, Professor Zhao Haiquan, Professor Liu Zhigang, Professor Mai Ruikun, Professor Li Qi, and Professor Song Wensheng .

  The list uses the Scopus citation and index database as the statistical source of Chinese scholars' scientific research achievements, adopts the method developed by Shanghai Ruanke Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd., and has been released nine times by 2023. The list covers 84 first-level disciplines in 10 disciplines of the Ministry of Education, and a total of 5,216 Chinese scholars with the most global influence from 504 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions were selected. The selection of 6 professors from the school demonstrates the global influence of our teachers in their own research fields.

The list covers 84 first-level disciplines in 10 subject areas of the Ministry of Education, and a total of 5,216 most globally influential Chinese scholars from 504 colleges and universities, enterprises and research institutions have been selected. The inclusion of six professors from our College highlights the global influence of our faculty in their own research fields.
